Your Brand Needs More Than a Logo
A strong identity has to work far beyond a logo. It should stay recognizable across your website, product interface, presentations, ads, social media, and other touchpoints.
Our branding design services combine visual identity expertise with 17+ years of experience designing websites and digital products, so every visual decision is made with real-world use in mind.
Our Logo & Brand Identity Design Process
1. Start with your business, not Pinterest
We start with discovery, focusing on the business rather than visual references. We learn about your product, audience, market, current identity, future plans and where the brand will actually be used. This helps us define what the project really needs and what would simply be unnecessary. Result: clear project scope and design criteria.
2. Market & Competitor Research
Before creating anything, we study the visual language of the category. We analyse competitor logos, common symbols, colors, typography and recurring visual patterns. This helps us understand where the brand needs to feel familiar and where it has room to be different. Result: a visual landscape and opportunities for differentiation.

3. Creative Direction & Moodboards
We turn research into several visual territories with different moods, associations and stylistic principles. Together with the client, we discuss what feels right for the brand before moving into logo concepts. This aligns expectations early and prevents the team from investing time in a beautiful but wrong direction. Result: an agreed creative direction.
4. Logo Concept Development
We explore different metaphors, associations and symbols that can express the brand idea visually. Our designers develop many possibilities internally and present the strongest directions with a clear rationale behind each one. For new logo development, we typically present 3 distinct concepts. Result: a selected logo concept with a meaningful idea behind it.

5. Logo Design & Refinement
Once the concept is selected, we refine proportions, typography, details and overall balance. We also check how the logo behaves across different sizes and formats, so the final solution is not only visually strong but practical. 2–3 consolidated feedback rounds keep the process focused. Result: a final logo system ready for real use.
6. Logobook & Identity Rules
A logo can easily lose consistency once different people start using it. That’s why we document the rules that matter: logo configurations, colors, clear space, incorrect usage, typography and other core principles. Result: a practical system your team can follow without guessing.
7. Identity Applications & Handoff
For larger identity projects, we extend the system into the materials your business actually needs. Presentations, documents, banners, print, merchandise, POS materials or other communication assets can all be developed within the same visual logic. Result: a consistent set of brand materials ready to use across your key communication channels.

Brand Identity Design FAQ
What is included in brand identity design services?
The scope depends on what your brand already has and what it needs next. Our brand identity design services can include logo design or refresh, visual identity, colors, typography, graphic language, imagery direction, brand applications, guidelines, and, for digital projects, a UI kit or design system. We define the exact deliverables during discovery.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
A logo is one recognizable element of a brand. Brand identity is the broader visual language around it, including colors, typography, graphic elements, imagery, layout principles, and the rules for using them consistently. Depending on the project, a brand identity can also include templates and applications for digital, sales, presentation, or print materials.
What is the difference between brand identity and branding?
Brand identity focuses on how a brand looks and behaves visually. Branding is broader and may also include positioning, naming, messaging, tone of voice, and brand strategy. Some agencies use terms such as branding design services or brand design services for both. At Turum-burum, our core focus is visual identity and its application across digital and communication touchpoints.
Do you provide full branding strategy?
No. Our core expertise is visual brand identity, rather than full brand strategy, positioning, naming, or messaging development. We use discovery, market and competitor research to understand the business context and make informed design decisions, but the deliverable is a visual solution, not a complete strategic brand platform.
How many logo concepts will I receive?
For a new logo, we typically present three distinct concepts based on the direction agreed during discovery and visual research. Each concept has a clear idea and rationale behind it. For a logo refresh, the number of directions may vary depending on how much of the existing identity should be preserved and how substantial the change needs to be.
Can you keep our existing logo and redesign the visual identity around it?
Yes. A new logo is not always necessary. Our visual identity design services can build or refresh the visual language around an existing logo through colors, typography, graphic elements, and imagery direction. Depending on your needs, we can also add iconography, illustration style, layout principles, templates, and key brand applications.
Do you create brand guidelines?
Yes. Depending on the scope, we can create a Logobook or visual identity guidelines that document how the identity should be used. These may cover logo versions, color rules, typography, clear space, minimum sizes, incorrect usage, and other relevant visual principles. For broader identity projects, guidelines can also include additional elements and brand applications.
Can you turn our brand identity into a design system for our product?
Yes, when we also work on the design of your website, platform, or digital product. We can translate the identity into a scalable Brand Design System & UI Kit, including digital colors and typography, design tokens, grids, spacing, components, states and variants, reusable Figma components, and page templates.
What if I don't like the first logo concepts?
We first identify what is not working and compare the feedback with the creative direction agreed earlier in the process. This helps us refine the strongest idea or adjust the direction without starting from random new options each time. Discovery and moodboards are specifically used to align expectations before detailed logo development begins.

Can you design social media, presentations, print and merchandise?
Yes. These can be added as optional brand applications depending on how your team plans to use the identity. This may include social media assets, presentation and document templates, advertising materials, print, merchandise, POS materials, and other communication assets. We define these applications during discovery instead of automatically adding materials your business does not need.
How much does brand identity design cost?
The cost of our brand identity design services depends on the scope, whether you need a logo refresh, visual identity, a new identity from scratch, or additional brand applications. Projects start from $PRICE. After discovery and scope definition, we provide a clear estimate based on the deliverables your business actually needs.
