A Playful Name, but with a Serious Attitude

Some say that our name sounds like the roar of a race car engine, and we're always revved up to create amazing things for our clients! Although we have a whimsical name, we have worked with top brands in Ukraine and Europe and created interfaces for businesses of all sizes that go wow, including Rozetka, the Ukrainian equivalent of Amazon with about 2.5 million users per day.

2009-2015

Entering the eCommerce Niche and Expanding Expertise

Turum-burum was founded in 2009 to create outstanding interfaces for Ukrainian e-commerce websites. The company quickly became a leading UX/UI design and development studio, working on large and TOP e-commerce projects, and organizing the first conference on usability in Ukraine — Usability.ua. Turum-burum also expanded its expertise in FinTech and digital health, becoming a certified consultant of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Ukraine.

2015-2019

Going Global With Focus on Conversion Optimization and Developing Our Own Approach in CRO

Turum-burum expanded its global reach, working on a wider range of projects in the United States, United Kingdom, and other countries. The company focused on conversion optimization through UX/UI improvements, by developing its unique approach in CRO.

2019-2022

Research, Accessibility, Partnerships, and Conferences

As Turum-burum became more and more global, we started to create designs that met the accessibility requirements, which were extremely important. We became the first Google UX partner in Ukraine and worked on a number of Shopify and large e-commerce projects. We also perform narrow analytics customization for each project, with our analytics department doing their own research studies.

2022 — Present

Rising Above Challenges

Our company has faced many tribulations since its founding but one challenge has stood out from all the rest — the war in Ukraine. We've relocated to safer areas out of harm’s way, expanded our global client base, and are committed to creating exceptional user experiences worldwide.

Despite this continuing ordeal, we partnered with Hotjar, shared our experience and best practices with foreign partners at international conferences (in London and Berlin), and held the first international CRO conference in Ukraine, featuring experts from Optimizely, Hotjar, CXL, and Baymard Institute.

Regarding our stress resistance, it can be stated that we are effectively immune to it. Yes, Turum-burum has thrived! This resilience can be attributed to our experienced team, renowned for consistently meeting deadlines with unwavering precision, even when faced with highly stressful situations.
