Founded in Canada in 2014 Divebooker is a global Online Travel Agency for scuba diving.
Divebooker.com makes it easy to browse and compare diving opportunities all over the world, to help you plan and instantly book a perfect diving vacation.
Task: Create a bright and stylish interface design for a startup that will attract the attention of users, as well as meet modern booking service patterns and cover business tasks.
We used big headlines and bright pictures in the content to grab the attention of users. Since most of the images were in cold blue colors, the design had to be in harmony with this content. We chose a white background, gray elements and warm colors to create contrast and thus zone the blocks.

- Conducted benchmark marketing
- We studied the target audience
- We identified points that can resonate with users in this segment
- Highlighted the functions that are characteristic of traditional bookings

We laid down the correct information architecture, worked out a clear UX. We created a structure that was based on the usual patterns for bookings, but at the same time included the features of a niche.
On the main page, we focused on the benefits of the service, displayed many entry points, showed the number and variety of offers. We have deduced a standard string that allows you to select a location, date and diving yacht.

Some time after the launch of the project, we conducted an audit of the site to make sure that all solutions work correctly.
This helped us build:
-
36 hypotheses for improving the interface
-
the most 5 critical hypotheses were concerning the changes in checkout and product page.
-
And we created new UX/UI solutions.
As a result, we increased conversion rate by 41.7% within 12 months.
